Willow and the Motorway Horses: When Roger the donkey hears that Mr O'Leary wants to replace the horses with cows, Willow the sand-cloloured pony comes up with a plan. Working into the night at the ancient sewing machine, Willow makes cow costumes for her friends and together they fool the humans and remain in their beloved field that overlooks the M6 motorway near junction 10. The cows don't prove to be a success and once again, Willow is making more disguises. One by one the group of equines dwindles as under the care of Mr O'Leary's nephew, Neville they dress up as alpaca, lions and other animals. Willow and the Motorway Horses uses the principles of children's writing in the creation of this book that is strictly for adults. Coming soon.

Non fiction

Travels in a Tin Can: Five actors are travelling throughout New Zealand performing two Shakespeare plays. Travels... is a tour diary and travelogue telling of one of the actor's experiences as the group travel from the top of the north island to the bottom of the south island. Brutally honest, this opinion piece hides nothing as the group experience the highs and lows of touring and the arguments tht threaten to divide the group. Travels in a Tin Can is a documented example of misplaced trust and a broken friendship that can never be repaired. Under consideration pending second draft.

Barry has at the moment two further non fiction titles being considered by publishers.
